C-REESE DESIGN is a full service design firm providing residential architectural design, interior design, and commercial space planning. Our firm focuses on the client’s objectives with a distinctive use of form, material and color to accommodate the goals of each individual client – whether the objective is cutting edge, exclusive high end, or unique character within a tight budget.

We design custom homes that are distinctive in style and character to reflect our client’s unique tastes. C-REESE DESIGN also works closely with the general contractor, and we assist clients in securing a general contractor so that special design elements and budget considerations can be made during the design phase. We believe very strongly that taking a team approach among the designer, builder, and owner is critical for a smooth running project with optimum results.

ARCHITECT

C-REESE DESIGN is seeking a licensed architect with multi-faceted design and project management experience who has high level business skills interacting with clients. We prefer someone who is very strong creatively. We would like to find someone in Austin who wants a long-term relationship where he/she can grow into a principal role. This person should have a strong work ethic who is creative and be self-motivated, highly organized, personable, and exceptional communication skills. Our firm specializes in commercial, multi-family and mid-range to high-end residential design.

Qualifications include:

• Proficient in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop
• Must have at least 5 years RESIDENTIAL experience
• Extensive project management experience
• Is a motivator and team player
• Prior experience creating complete sets of construction documents in team settings and individually
• Knowledge of 3-D rendering, Sketchup, PhotoShop and Revit a plus

Office Assistant

Position Summary: Local design firm is seeking an experienced Administrative Office Assistant who is highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, and who communicates with a positive and helpful attitude. This individual must be able to multi-task and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

This unique position is located at our Southwest Austin office, working directly with the owner, clients, and vendors in a professional office setting. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Provide support and office management in coordination with high-end clients and vendors
• Format and revise letters, memorandums, reports
• Maintain office filing system (paper, electronic, email)
• Schedule appointments and meetings
• Manage office supply inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Minor bookkeeping
• Social media marketing support

Requirements Appropriately qualified candidates will have the following core competencies and required experience 

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum of 3 years office administration experience
• Requires a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a quick learner with a positive attitude
• Have the ability to multi-task and to prioritize work amidst competing demands
• Ability to work independently at times with little supervision
• Basic Adobe Photoshop editing skills
• Must have driver’s license and clean driving record – some office errands are required
• Must pass a criminal background and credit check
